Sony Xperia TL AT&T packs in 13MP camera, 4.6-inch Reality HD display

The Sony Xperia TL AT&T is an exclusive to the network provider with key features like a 13MP rear-facing camera, NFC and a 4.6-inch HD Reality display. Speaking of which, it proffers resolutions of up to 1080 x 720 pixels along with the company’s Mobile Bravia Engine.

This panel runs over the handset’s sleek form factor that measures 0.4 inches in thickness and weighs approximately 5.2 ounces. Next in line is the rear-facing Exmor R snapper that tags along the quick launch highlight for capturing the first shot in roughly 1.5 seconds from sleep mode. There is also a secondary camera that facilitates video conferencing in 720p.

Like the Xperia T, this smartphone has the Ice Cream Sandwich platform hosting the show along with a dual core processor that’s clocked at 1.5GHz. Users will be able to upgrade the handset to Jelly Bean following its release. Then there are SmartTags that let customers save various settings and preferences for different situations and access them via NFC.

Other than that, the specifications sheet shows supports for 4G LTE, Wi-Fi with Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth, DLNA and GPS. Sony has included a number of media applications such as Walkman and Movies. There is even the company’s Album tool that provides geo-mapping, over 25 editing options and an enhanced image and video folder layout for photography enthusiasts.

The Sony Xperia TL AT&T price and release date details have not been disclosed. Prospective buyers will be able to pick up the handset drenched in black.
