Claiming to offer decent acoustics over Wi-Fi networks in home settings, the all new Sony SA-NS310, SA-NS410 and SA-NS510 wireless speakers have been launched. The audio peripherals employ AirPlay technology to stream songs from Apple devices such as the iPhone, the iPad or the iPod. Also, the company has thrown in an app dubbed Sony Network Audio Remote for playing music from non-Cupertino devices.

Both the NS410 and the NS510 audio systems employ 4 outward facing tweeters and are clubbed with a woofer to deliver ‘all-inclusive’ sound. The NS310 features a full range woofer and is tailored to offer complete 360-degree audio to fill up an entire room. The NS510 is capable of reeling out music for nearly 5 hours. Additionally, tracks from PCs or laptops can also be streamed via the speakers in question.

“Flexibility and freedom – that’s what wireless speakers from Sony are all about. You don’t necessarily want a full-blown sound system in every room of the house but that shouldn’t stop you listening to music when and where you want. And that’s where wireless speakers from Sony come in, delivering excellent sound quality from a huge range of music sources. The fact they look good too is an added bonus,” remarked Naoto Yoshioka, Product Manager, of Home Audio Video Business at Sony Europe.

Potential users need to download the Sony NS Setup app for employing it with the tablet or phone in question. Besides, multiple wireless speakers can be synced as well to listen to the same music from various rooms. The Network Audio Remote and NS Setup utilities are available as free downloads via iTunes and Google Play.
