Sony Ericsson announced the latest addition to its line-up today – the sleek T700. The phone is a blend of elegant design and fine features. The GSM handset is light-weight and merely 10 mm thin.
Most of the features are similar to that of the W980. The phone comes equipped with a 3.2 MP camera with 3x digital zoom, self portrait mirror and video recording. Photos can be easily uploaded to the net or printed through the photo blogging function and Pict respectively. The 2 inch TFT display boasts of bright colors and high clarity. Other features include FM radio, Media player, stereo speakers and Bluetooth. This handset’s talk-time is up to 4.5 hours and stand-by time is 360 hours. T700 comes with a 512 memory card and supports memory expansion as well. The accessories also include colour-matched headsets for the fashion conscious.
The phone will be available in three color combinations – black on red, black on silver and shining silver. T700 will be out by the fourth quarter and is expected to have a middle-range pricing.
