Sure enough, ‘as alike as two peas in a pod’ is something that doesn’t align with Sony Ericsson’s creative gray matter. Giving such one more example, Sony Ericsson has just taken the veil off all-new Vivaz pro mobile phone that adds a QWERTY keyboard to the touchscreen offering for optimal messaging.

Users can now communicate quickly and efficiently via email, SMS or social networking updates, thanks to its full QWERTY keyboard. Just like the flagship phone Sony Ericsson Vivaz, the new device lets users produce and broadcast their best experience in HD video. The open platform now enables users to personalize their entertainment experience by downloading great applications through PlayNow and the Symbian Developer Community.

“Having announced Sony Ericsson Vivaz in January we are now adding a sister phone that includes a QWERTY keyboard along with the touch screen for a superior messaging and entertainment experience,” explained Daniel Sandblom Marketing Business Manager, Sony Ericsson. “Sony Ericsson Vivaz pro meets the increased consumer demand for QWERTY devices without compromising on any entertainment features.”

The Vivaz pro’s chassis is designed according to the company’s ‘human curvature’ philosophy. Garbed in highly attractive and sleek cover, the handset features a 5 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom and auto-focus, full slide-out keyboard for faster typing, 3.2-inch 16:9 wide touchscreen and support for UMTS HSPA 900/2100 and GSM GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900, UMTS HSPA 850/1900/2100 and GSM GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900.

Users can now stay in touch through email, Twitter, Facebook, blogging and chat, and can capture the action in HD resolution. Additionally, the exquisite unit allows users to upload videos to YouTube via Wi-Fi and enjoy the immediate online access to applications, games and music.

Further, the phone comes equipped with A-GPS, Google Maps, Wisepilot turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth, DLNA certified (photo and audio), micro USB connector, 8 GB microSD card, 3.5 mm audio jack, modem, PictBridge printing, TV out, USB port and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Sony Ericsson Vivaz pro is slated to hit shelves in selected markets from Q2 in the colors Black and White. The pricing details are yet to be revealed.
