What attracts more to the mobile phone users is the TV which lacks in the iPhone but this minute difference has been overcome by the Japanese mobile carrier SoftBank. It stated that it will now sell a TV tuner card add-on for iPhone 3G that will surely increase the popularity of the iPhones.
The TV tuner card add-on is likely to be more compact than the iPhone. The add-on will also be serving as a battery pack which will feature live television to the iPhone over the Wi-Fi, which will provide the user to have a nice experience of watching movies on mobile devices. It will also incorporate an internal Wi-Fi connection and an external antenna to get access to 1Seg mobile broadcasting service available in Japan
The SoftBank “TV & battery” for iPhone 3G is set to release in mid December with an expected price of $100.
