Sharp,TaiwanJapanese company Sharp has got a much needed approval from the FCC for a new mobile phone, the Sharp WX-T825. With the Asian market kind of availing most of the good stuff in terms of newly released phones, this new model by Sharp will be exclusively launched in Taiwan as of now.

Documents on the FCC’s public access domain reveal the Sharp WX-T825 is apparently made in the form factor of a slider. The phone is characterized by some great functions like communications standard support with WCDMA 2000, GSM 900/1800/1900 GPRS Class 10, a 2 Megapixel CMOS camera and support for microSD memory card format.

The 2.8” widescreen with high quality TFT resolution can display more than 262 thousand colours. Weighing 112 gms and with dimensions of 49h102, 9h16, 7 mm, the device additionally sports a support for wireless Bluetooth v2.0 without EDR. The battery is Li-Ion, 700 mA / h.

The FCC document was accompanied with photographs, descriptions and functions of the Sharp WX-T825; the official announcement is yet to come from FCC.
