Samsung tweets about enhancing GPS on Galaxy S phones

Samsung Galaxy S series For quite some time now, the mobile world is complaining about the GPS problem in the handsets. Samsung has realized that this problem is creating a lot of inconvenience for its consumers. Thus, the company now seems to correct its mistake and fix the problem. Users might be extremely happy to get their hands on this software fix.

Carla Saavedra, the company’s Web Product Analyst tweets, “Samsung is testing software to optimize GPS on Galaxy S phones. Look for updates in September. Details & download instructions to follow.”

Previously, the Galaxy S handset owners have been facing a lot problem with the GPS. In a few circumstances, the GPS search results would produce incorrect results. Apparently, it seems that the internal GPS takes quite some time to connect to a satellite and the location data reported is sometime far away from the user’s destination.

With this new fix which is expected to come around the month of September, we surely hope it amends the various issues that consumers are facing with regard to GPS.
