Samsung SM-G7102 5.2-inch dual SIM phone is in the pipeline

The Samsung SM-G7102 has popped up on the web and it comes across as a phablet that’s only slightly smaller than the Galaxy Note 3 phablet. According to the information found on the internet, it is a dual SIM smartphone that will come fitted with a 5.2-inch touchscreen.

Phone Arena spotted this device at FCC and even got some information about it through Zauba and a Samsung Mobile website. Zauba has shipment data and it was from the documents of this website that the aforementioned website found out that the phone will sport a 5.2-inch display. This screen could be capable of delivering visuals in 1280 x 720p resolution.

And just like the Galaxy Note 3, this device will rock the Android Jelly Bean 4.3 OS out of the box which should also make it compatible with the Galaxy Gear. No other details have been provided, but we are expecting it to tag along dual cameras and a powerful processor, probably with four cores amongst a lot of other things.

Considering that two SIM card slots have been carved out in the device’s chassis, this device is meant for developing markets such as India and some other Asian countries. It could also make its way into some European markets, but a US release for the phone seems highly unlikely. Its unlocked version could go up for sale in the country though.

Of course, we haven’t heard anything about the Samsung SM-G7102 from the horse’s mouth, however, we will be back with more details as soon as they are out.
