Verizon Wireless is adding two new world phones from Samsung to its gallery, Samsung Saga and Samsung Renown. Both the new phones will boast sophisticated multimedia features and superior messaging capabilities that will offer customers to enjoy the most consistent network in more than 200 locations worldwide for voice and 150 international locations for data.
Samsung Saga: A smart stylish phone with Windows Mobile 6.1 and with full QWERTY keyboard. Saga has 2.6” QVGA 240 x 320 pixel touch screen display that will make it easy for the users to interact. The phone is incorporated with Quad Band GSM/GPRS capability and an optical mouse making the phone very professional in use. The Saga provides access to the Microsoft features like Word, Excel and Power point. The phone also extends its support for Active Sync 4.5 and Mobile device center for Vista OS.
Saga features 2.0 MP camera with night shots so that the users can click clear images in low light situations. The phone also equips a built-in stereo Bluetooth wireless technology. Microsoft Voice Command technology is also integrated for speech recognition. For entertainment the user has the Windows Media Player and the memory storage capacity is up to 16 GB.
Samsung Renown: It is a phone with a chocolate brown color with the standard flip. The device offers a 2.0 mega pixel camera with night shot so that images can be captured effectively even in dark environments. Entertainment is surely guaranteed by Renown as it supports Verizon Wireless V Cast Music with Rhapsody and V cast Video service in US. These services allows the user to access and purchase songs. This phone is ready to be your companion, so do not forget to carry this phone while you travel. With V Cast customers can download or stream video clips.
The stylish clamshell also supports visual voice mail that allows the user to browse through voice mails messages on the phone’s display. Renown too is integrated with stereo Bluetooth technology. The phone memory storage capacity is up to 8 GB.
Samsung Saga is available now across business channels, online and telesales. Saga is priced for $199 with two year service contract after $70 mail in rebate and will be available in stores from December 1. The Renown will be available in business sales channels, online and telesales on Nov. 19 and in stores on Dec. 1. Renown is priced for $179.99 with an agreement.
