Rogers Wireless recently added two new rugged cellphones to its gallery, the Samsung Rugby A836 and ZTE Rock F165. Both the clamshell phones offer durability and adaptability features required to withstand any situation.
Samsung Rugby A836 is a strong clamshell cellphone that meets the U.S military 810F standard features. It is been crafted in such a way that it can resist shock, dust, rain, temperature, altitudes and solar radiations. It is a perfect phone if you travel a lot to different places with varying climatic conditions. It supports 3G connectivity and will allow Rugby users to access it wherever it is available.
Rugby A836 phone offers access to emails, HTML browser and instant messaging. It sports a 1.3 megapixel camera and incorporates large external speakers. In addition to this, it includes 130MB of internal memory and supports memory expansion up to 8GB via microSD card slot. Multimedia features like playback and music downloads are also integrated.

The second one is ZTE Rock that features a display of 176 x 220 pixels resolution. A 2 megapixel camera is on board along with 128MB of internal memory that can be expanded upto 2GB. ZTE Rock phone users can access e-mail and mobile internet features through which they can send and receive e-mails. Another feature included in ZTE Rock phone is the capability of wireless video calling.
The phone supports 3.5G HSPA network and supports downloading speed of 7.2 Mbps. The ZTE Rock phone has the power to withstand harsh environments and has the capability to give its best performance. An external antenna offers powerful signals even in remote areas. This will help Rugby users to stay in contact with their friends and family even if they travel to remote exterior areas.
Samsung Rugby and ZTE Rock are exclusively available for Rogers Wireless. Samsung rugby is offered for $149.99 with three year plan and ZTE Rock phone will cost $79.99 with three years of agreement.
