The Samsung Pixon 12 M8910 camera phone was unveiled a few weeks ago but the pricing of the handset wasn’t announced.
It has recently come to light that the Samsung Pixon 12 will sell for €639 ($897) in Spain. Although the phone may possess the world’s first 12 MP camera, its price may be a little steep considering this being an unlocked phone. The price of the unlocked Pixon 12 is unlikely to differ in other European markets.
This Samsung phone also includes other features besides its 12 MP camera with autofocus, Xenon flash and 720 x 480 pixels video recording. It has HSDPA/HSUPA connectivity and sports a 3.1 inch AMOLED WVGA display. It also has GPS navigation, WiFi connectivity and 150 MB of internal memory.
The Samsung Pixon 12 should be available to customers in Spain somewhere in late August. In September, at least one carrier will provide the phone. Therefore, it will be less expensive when bought with a contract agreement.
