Recently at the Mobile World Congress 2009, Samsung unveiled a new mobile phone called the Samsung OmniaHD . For the first time Samsung has introduced a handset based on the Symbian S60 platform. It can be a perfect phone for all those who wish to own many features in one device. Along with the launch of a new mobile phone Samsung announced the availability of the Samsung Memoir phone.
The Samsung OmniaHD is a sleek and stylish phone featuring an impressive 3.7 inch AMOLED screen with the ability to consume less power and deliver vibrant colors. The phone is enriched with an 8 megapixel camera that will allow users to capture digital camera quality images. The HD video recording feature integrated in the phone will allow users to record high quality videos. Users can not only record videos but can also share live videos via qik.com.

The intuitive 3D interface of the phone will allow users to view and access mobile content effortlessly. The phone also includes a MP3 player and its high speed internet connectivity will allow users to upload or download songs within few seconds.
To store all the multimedia files, the Samsung OmniaHD is available with two storage configurations, 8GB and 16GB and external memory expansion upto 32GB. The massive storage space of the phone will allow users to store in about 35 DVD quality movies and about 18,000 photographs.
The Samsung Memoir phone features an impressive 8 megapixel camera that comprises of functions like auto focus, Xenon flash, 16x digital zoom and video recording. The phone is wrapped with various high-end features such as access to full HTML Web browser, high data transfer speed, music player and connectivity options.
The Samsung Memoir phone will be available from February 25, 2009 for $249.99 with a two year service agreement. There is no information on availability and price of the Samsung OmniaHD phone.
