A new feature of the Omnia Reloaded is the SecureRed application. This tool allows users to perform remote access to the handset and erase all data if it is stolen. The new Omnia sports an increasing number of social networking applications. Along with integrated MySpace, Facebook and Flickr, Omnia Reloaded also comes with SpaceMe, ExploreMe and PlaceMe.

These special services enable geo-referencing between friends and allows them to provide points of interest (POIs.) Users can take advantage of the new ‘Try’n Play’ service if they want to buy games directly from the phone. It also comes with a TV-out cable that is not present in the other versions.

The specs of the Samsung Omnia Reloaded have not changed. These include a 3.2-inch WQVGA touch display, GPS support, Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi and HSDPA connectivity. It is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 and comes with a 5 MP autofocus camera with WDR, face recognition, smile recognition, image stabilizer, geo-tagging and Auto-Panorama Shot. The internal memory storage of the device is 8GB with added microSD memory card slot.

Samsung Omnia Reloaded is set to go on sale in Italy at the end of the month. It will be priced at 469 Euros ($600).
