Samsung Omnia Android It will come as good news for many mobile phone users that the latest Samsung Omnia will now operate on the efficient Android platform. According to Engadget Mobile, with this new addition, the handset will offer extraordinary business management capabilities and better services.

The phone boasts of an ultra slim exterior with a platinum finish. Weighing 125 grams, it is 112×56.9×12.5mm in size. Along with a 3.2” WQVGA TFT LCD (240×400) display, the device sports a 5 megapixel camera. The camera has features like auto focus, image stabilizer and Auto Panorama Shot. In addition, it offers a Wide Dynamic Range with Face and Smile Detection. The phone offers DivX/XviD/H.263/H.264/WMV/MP4 video recording as well as video editing.

This touchscreen handset incorporates the Microsoft Exchange Push Email along with POP3/IMAP/Webmail. It also offers the Opera Mobile Browserv9.5 and Mobile Blogging. It operates on the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and the TouchWiz user interface. Furthermore, it comprises of an FM Radio with MP3/AAC/AAC+/WMA/OCG/AMR.
