Users on the prowl for an official Android 2.1 update may be gladdened to lend their ear to this tidbit. According to SamsungHub, the Samsung Omnia HD and Samsung Moment will now receive a future firmware update that subsumes kinetic scrolling.
Apparently, Sprint has officially announced that it will unveil the Android 2.1 update for Samsung Moment users. Though its’ still bleary when the update will be out but threads of anticipation are pointing towards the Q1 of 2010.
Reportedly, for now, instead of erstwhile planned v2.0.1, Sprint is all girded up to release the Android 2.1 update. Well, the features are quite fuzzy but the launch date is scheduled for Q1 of 2010.
Well, it shouldn’t startle if hardcore users of Samsung Omnia and Samsung Moment are spotted getting glued to their handset as one more entrancing reason has just sprung high on shoulders.
