AT&T has been working hard to expand its product portfolio with new 4G handsets that promise to satiate changing market requirements. The network carrier has now launched the Samsung Infuse smartphone which comes drenched in a mesmerizing caviar black shade.

Powered by the Android 2.2 operating system, the handset houses a 4.5-inch super AMOLED plus touchscreen. Crafted with sleek and attractive characteristics, this new device rolled out from AT&T’s kitty enables users to capture memorable moments with the rear-facing 8 megapixel camera with and stay connected with their loved ones using the front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera.

Users can entertain themselves while on the go with the integrated music player and engaging apps from the Android Market. The overall experience is optimized with pre-loaded tools like Angry Birds, AT&T Code Scanner, AT&T Family Map, Samsung Media Hub, AT&T MyWireless, YP Mobile, Facebook, You Tube and Quick Office.

The handset comes equipped with a 1750mAh battery which renders around 8 hours of talktime and 16 days of standby time. As light as 4.9oz, the phone comes along with 18GB internal memory which can be seamlessly expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.

The Samsung Infuse smartphone can be purchased through AT&T for $199.99 with a new two-year contract and a minimum data service beginning at $15 per month.
