The longstanding collaboration of Samsung and fashion honcho Giorgio Armani is now renewed with the duo’s latest innovation, the W820/W8200. The device is anticipated to reach the South Korean markets soon. Earlier the pair had unveiled the stylish and innovative M7500 also known as the Night Effect phone.
The slider phone packages a 3.1-inch AMOLED WVGA touchscreen display that offers 800 × 480 pixels resolution, reports IntoMobile. Reportedly, the handset is equipped with a 5 megapixel camera and a T-DMB mobile TV receiver. It looks like Samsung would retain its powerful and user friendly TouchWIZ UI that presents premium graphics capabilities.
As far as the connectivity features are concerned, the Samsung Giorgio Armani W820/W8200 packages Bluetooth and HSDPA functionalities. Apparently, the luxury mobile phone boasts of a golden rim around its screen. The mobile phone may present a front camera for video-calling.
The pricing and the availability details of the designer handset is still under wraps. We wonder whether the handset will be made available outside South Korea.
