Online retailer Amazon has started retailing the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. Although it was scheduled to start shipping in the U.S. from November 13, Amazon seems to have had a change of mind and commenced the process a week earlier. The slim device comes equipped with a 7-inch 1024 x 600p WSVGA TFT touchscreen and operates on a dual core 1.2GHz processor.

Powered by Android 3.2 Honeycomb, this 345g tablet features the new compatibility zoom mode that optimizes applications that have not been engineered to run on larger screen sizes and makes them fit on the entire screen without distortion. Equipped with the TouchWiz UX interface, it comes preloaded with various Google applications including Google Maps, YouTube, Google Latitude, Google Places, Google Calendar, Google Talk, Gmail and Google Maps Navigation.

Measuring 193.65mm x 122.37mm x 9.96mm, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus offers many connectivity options such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Edge, Wi-Fi Direct and more. It is integrated with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.

Running on a 4,000mAh battery, this device gives users access to innumerable apps in the vast Android Market. It is incorporated with a 2MP front and a 3MP rear facing camera featuring autofocus and LED flash. Users are enabled to shoot videos in 720p HD with the camera.
