Samsung Galaxy S4 specs sheet may have Eye Pause and Eye Scroll features

The list of the Samsung Galaxy S4 specs is said to include new features and they are apparently dubbed Eye Pause and Eye Scroll. It seems that these attributes may be the fresh trademark labels for the upcoming version of the Touch-wiz Nature UX.

There have been rumors and leaks dealing with the Galaxy S4 specifications and these fresh features have just given boost to more such speculations. Last year, the S3 brought in technologies that put the front-facing camera into action. Smart Stay is one such attribute which retains the backlight as long as any user is viewing the screen.

So going on the same lines, we assume Eye Pause and Eye Scroll too will have a lot to do with the secondary webcam. With the former feature, it is most likely that users should be able to pause videos and movies by averting their gaze.

The Eye Scroll on the other hand, ought to mean that the text on the screen should move upwards or downwards depending on users’ viewing movements. Of course, we are just adding to the pile of presumptions and there may be more to the attributes than what meets the ‘eye’.

Apart from the aforementioned expectations that we are harboring, there are other factors we anticipate the smartphone to possess. For starters, news of it bagging in the S Pen from the Note family has been doing the rounds since the beginning of this month.

The device will most likely carry a 5-inch Super AMOLED screen as opposed to its predecessor’s 4.8-inch display. It might just rock the latest version of Android Jelly Bean out of the box and at the same time bear a 13MP main camera with auto focus. If the rumor is proven true, then the smartphone may employ ARM’s big.LITTLE architecture as explained in our previous report.

Coming back to the topic at hand, the news of the Samsung Galaxy S4 specs sheet including the Eye Scroll and Eye Pause features was spilled out by Sam Mobile. They have revealed a certain Dutch site to be the source of this information. Taking the current scenario into consideration, it appears that we might have to wait until April before we see these attributes in action.
