Arriving as good news to fans, the Samsung Galaxy S3 64GB version will be kicking in by the second half of this year. This variant is designed to meet the memory requirements of prospective users.

The online retailer Expansys recently marked the high memory smartphone as discontinued, which made its release quite unlikely. However, fresh stories going around the web talk about the model indeed being in the works.

According to a post on The Verge, the South-Korea based company has confirmed to them that the 64GB device should be seen sometime later this year. Samsung has not failed to mention that the handset has just been proclaimed internationally. Its exact availability details via different operators and retailers may vary.

Expansys 64GB Discontinued

Ever since its launch, Samsung’s latest Galaxy device was advertised to carry 3 memory choices of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The 16GB and 32GB variants have hit a variety of carriers and stores since then, and possibly the 64GB version may arrive soon. The specifications are deemed to be the same, except for the fact that potential users will get additional space to hoard all forms of content like audio, video and documents.

Just as a reminder, the device sports a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED screen on the front panel. It shows off an 8MP snapper on the back side along with a 1.9MP front sensor for video conferencing.
