There is good news awaiting prospective users who have pre-ordered the Samsung Galaxy S III, from the Samsung Brand Store at Westfield Stratford City, in the UK. The company has revealed that these pre-order customers will get to lay hands on the handset even before it sets foot in the country officially.
With the stage set for a May 30 launch, the aforesaid group of people will receive their devices on May 29 itself starting from 6 p.m. in the evening. It seems like it’s not too late as yet, considering that potential users can still pre-order the same from the said store before the scheduled time for delivery. Notably, the Samsung Galaxy S III will not be purchasable on May 29 and this offer is valid to just the individuals who pre-order the handset from the Samsung Brand Store before the aforementioned date and time. Pre-orders based on retentions or via the web will not be delivered to the concerned parties until May 30. Orders placed after 6pm on May 29 will be delivered on or after May 30.
Simon Stanford, Vice President, Telecommunications and Networks, Samsung UK and Ireland, elaborated, “We’ve had an overwhelming response from our retail partners and customers alike since announcing the Galaxy S III on 3 May. So we wanted to delight our customers and reward them for pre-ordering by letting them get their hands on the device a day before anyone else. We believe we have created our best smartphone yet, designed specifically with daily human needs in mind, and we are proud to provide our customers with a truly unique mobile user experience.”
Additionally, the South Korea-based manufacturer is giving its sales channels a choice of shipping out their pre-orders early, that is from 7 p.m. onwards on May 29. The final delivery will be based on the discretion of individual retailers. Running through the smartphone’s main attributes, it is fueled by ICS, sports a 4.8-inch 1280 × 720p display, and is available in memory choices of 16GB and 32GB along with an impending 64GB variant. Moreover, it carries a host of software features to make the smartphone experience convenient and intuitive.
