Samsung Galaxy Note 3 seen in AnTuTu benchmark, launch date revealed

We have more grabs on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, seeing as the upcoming smartphone has recently been spotted on AnTuTu Benchmarks. Apart from granting leverage to the Samsung device’s existence, there’s not much that this news delivers which wasn’t already known.

The handset found in the readings shows off SM-N9005 as its model number which ought to be the LTE variant. It goes on to confirm two of the most significant speculations made in the past, indicating that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be optimized for the latest Android Jelly Bean OS and it will gain steam from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset clocked at 2.3GHz.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2

This tidbit has drifted into the open through a post on SamMobile which claims to have come across it via a GSM Insider article. While the results point towards a Qualcomm processor, there also seems to be an Exynos 5 Octa variant lurking in the shadows.

One of our previous articles had spoken about the handset reportedly bearing three varying screen sizes – 5.5”, 5.7” and 6” to be specific. Additionally, rumors are that the device will pack either a 13MP or an 8MP primary camera depending on version.

UnPacked Event Invite

Well, we have less than a month to go before the company itself agrees (or disagrees) with this piece of information about the Galaxy Note 3, considering that it has hinted at the smartphone’s launch through an invite for its upcoming UnPacked event on September 4.

Round up of the purported specifications:

– Display: 5.7” or 6” touchscreen
– Platform: Android 4.3
– Camera: 13MP and 8MP
– Processor: Exynos 5 Octa and Qualcomm Snapdragon 800
– RAM: 3GB
