If rumors doing the rounds on the web are to be believed, a certain Korean manufacturer is in the process of releasing the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, a larger version of the currently available tablet-smartphone. It appears that an MWC Samsung Developer Day invite has seemingly given rise to these speculations.

The Verge has apparently received a response from the company that says ‘We don’t comment on future product announcements.’ But if the reply is scrutinized, it nowhere denies the possibility of a 10.1-incher Note currently in the works. Some other clues that the website came across include an invitation sent out to a teen student for acting in a Galaxy Note 10.1 commercial. This particular document regarding the advertisement apparently reveals that this hybrid device can be used to record, take pictures and edit.

The previously released version of the smartphone renders visuals in 1280 x 800p resolutions through the Super AMOLED HD display that offers a multi-touch screen of 5.3 inches. This Android Gingerbread slab packs in a dual core CPU that clocks in a processing speed of 1.4GHz. The 3G enabled device comes accompanied by the S Pen and lets users record 1080p high definition videos. Its 8MP primary camera boasts of an LED flash, while the front facing 2MP webcam facilitates video conferencing.

There hasn’t been an official announcement regarding the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, but the company hasn’t denied the suppositions either. Further details might be revealed at the MWC which will be held later this month.
