The Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 and 6.3 which have been out of the news for quite some time now, are back and have popped up on a couple of online shopping stores in India. The latter has taken its stand on Infibeam, while the former can also be found with Saholic, without any price or release date details.
Slapped with a model number label reading GT-I9152, the first device scarcely strays away from the earlier made predictions. To begin with, it naturally will be shipping with a 5.8-inch touch display just as its name suggests. The TFT LCD panel of this handset encompasses a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels.
Android loyalists should note that it nabs the most recent edition of Jelly Bean. Internally, it gets the kick from a 1.4GHz dual core processor. The gadget measures 162.6mm x 82.4mm x 9mm in dimensions, while the prior rumors had remarked that it will stretch up to a height of 164mm, width of 83.3mm and depth of 9.7mm.
Moving on to the 6.3-inch smartphone which appears to be an enlarged version of the GS4, the Jelly Bean-fueled gadget comes with an HD TFT touchscreen. Under the hood rests a dual core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 1.5GB of RAM and a 3,200mAh Li-ion battery. The camera offering of both handsets run parallel. This means that an 8MP camera has been positioned on the rear panel of each, whereas their fronts individually bear a 1.9MP lens.
Although the Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 has been listed in two color schemes, namely black and white, both e-retailers have offered it solely in the latter hue. The 6.3-inch smartphone on the other hand has surfaced after taking a dip in the shades of white as well as black.
