Samsung Galaxy Fonblet 5.8 and Pocket 2 seen amongst others in GLBenchmark results

Along with the Samsung Galaxy Fonblet 5.8 dubbed GT-I9150, and its GT-I9152dual SIM variant, some other gadgets in the same series namely, the Pocket 2, Star, GT-B9150, Young and Frame have been spotted in a certain GLBenchmark readings recently. The aspect that presumably runs common in the devices is that they all seem to be optimized for version 4.1.2 of Android Jelly Bean.

Coming to the specifications, the Galaxy Fonblet 5.8 has apparently been portrayed as a gadget fitted with a 1.2GHz Broadcom processor. A VideoCore IV GPU together with a display spouting visuals in qHD could qualify as some of its significant highlights. By the looks of it, Samsung has slapped another phone with a label akin to that of an older 2.8-inch smartphone. The Pocket 2 seems to share the 850MHz Broadcom CPU with the Plus variant, but that’s the only similarity we could deduce hitherto.

The device in question may come with a VGA display and conceal a VideoCore IV GPU. Next up is the Star which joins the race amongst those in the low-end category. The readings suggest that it may be fitted with a Spreadtrum processor bundling a Mail-300 GPU and a 240 x 320 display, although the clock speed and the screen size have been held back as of now.

Unnamed as yet, the GT-B9150 is expected to be equipped with a 1.7GHz dual core Exynos 5250 processor which will be accompanied by a quad core Mali-T604 GPU. What sets this product apart from the rest is its supposed ability to reproduce pictures and videos in full HD. Currently, it’s too early to decipher if this is a tablet or smartphone, but the folks at SamMobile believe it to be a high-end slate.

Even though both the remaining devices hold onto an HVGA display, the Young may be driven by a Qualcomm processor running at a speed of 1GHz and tagging an Adreno 200 GPU, whereas the Frame might be fueled by a 1GHz Broadcom CPU with VideoCore IV graphics. Supposedly, the latter will be launched in two variants – one with and the other without NFC, namely S6810P and S6810, respectively.

At present, we are able to highlight only so many features dealing with the Galaxy Fonblet 5.8, Pocket 2, Star, Young and Frame. Since there is still no word concerning the company’s 7-inch device that we found in the GLBenchmark readings in the month of December last year, it is hard to say how long it will take for the OEM to authenticate the existence of the aforementioned gadgets.
