After tons of speculators took a guess at the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3, it has eventually stepped into an open ground, showing off most attributes already known to us. Samsung very predictably has crafted two variants of the smartphone, a 3G model and a 4G LTE unit, to be precise.
First up is the 3G device which is the only one amongst the two to proffer a duos version. It has been slapped with a 4-inch TFT LCD display, churning out pictures and videos at 480 x 800p resolution. The 3G Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 rocks version 4.2 of Android Jelly Bean out of the box and gains steam from a 1GHz dual core processor.
A 5MP camera has been positioned on the rear panel along with an LED flash, while a VGA webcam resides on the front portion. Besides 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded by up to 64GB via a microSD card, the phone houses a whole gigabyte of system memory.
Within its frame of 121.2mm x 62.7mm x 9.8mm, the 115g Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 hides a 1,500mAh Li-ion battery. Although most elements hailing from the 4G LTE model’s specification list reflect those from the aforementioned phone’s chart, the former holds a higher place on the pedestal owing to certain variations. If we had to list them out, we’d begin with the onboard processor which also bears dual cores, but it has been clocked at 1.2GHz.
As opposed to its HSDPA cousin, the 4G LTE model offers 8GB of flash hoarding space. However, its expansion limit stays constant at 64GB. Instead of a 1,500mAh battery, users will find a 1,800mAh cell powering up the smartphone. At 119.5 grams, it is slightly heavier and measures 0.2mm more than the other unit in thickness.
Even though the Galaxy Ace 3 has received official recognition, the company hasn’t revealed its price and release date as yet.
