It looks like the Samsung Epic 4G has been in rally high demand among mobile phone aficionados. The Samsung Epic 4G has made it to the list of Sprint’s best-selling devices for first-day sales according to the latest announcement by the said carrier. This phone runs the Android 2.1 OS and is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird Application processor.
Featuring a 4” Super AMOLED touchscreen display, the smartphone can be used on 3G or 4G networks. Moreover, Sprint also offers subscribers the Overdrive 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot that delivers users 4G connectivity for up to five Wi-Fi enabled gizmos. The carrier also extends five mobile broadband phones which allow access to Sprint 4G data speeds.

The Samsung Epic 4G can be procured from all Sprint retail channels, the official website, retail partners such as RadioShack, Best Buy and Walmart or also via telesales. Retailing with a price tag of $249.99 excluding taxes, the phone is sold with a new connection or eligible upgrade after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new service agreement on select plans that have Premium Data add-on.
If the Epic 4G gets sold out at local company-owned retail stores, customers can make use of the Reserve Now policy which lets them hold the handset by purchasing a $50 gift card to book the handset in advance.
