AT&T has pulled out yet another enticing handset from its kitty, the Samsung Captivate. The Android-powered handset sports a wide 4” Super AMOLED display. It provides an excellent immersive experience to entertainment buffs that enjoy playing games or watching videos along with which it offers integrated social networking tools.
The device augments the gaming experience as it equips a six-axis motion sensor and a robust 3D graphics engine. It also offers brilliant audio quality with the dynamic richness of surround-sound stereo audio. The wide AMOLED display proffers an enhanced off-axis viewing and clearer outdoor visibility. The handset comes with 16GB on-board memory which is expandable up to 32GB. A 5MP camera with HD video recording facility is embedded in the phone.
Other than the proffered entertainment value the Samsung Captivate also delivers an entire suite of fully integrated Google applications. This enables users to check their mails, find directions on Google Maps, download hundreds of apps available from the Android Market, upload videos to YouTube, and much more.
