It seems that Samsung is all set to add the Samsung A877 phone to its electric portfolio of devices. The new messaging device is rumored to be available via AT&T and it might be the Samsung Jackfrost that was slated to be available in this month.

The Samsung A877 phone is expected to feature a 3.2 WQVGA AMOLED touchscreen display and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard as well. The phone may integrate Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface that allows users to easily interact with the device.

Apparently, the Samsung A877 phone may incorporate a 3 megapixel camera with geo-tagging capabilities. The handset is assumed to support quad band GSM and dual band UMTS connectivity. The phone may support full HTML browser and Bluetooth connectivity.

Additionally, the phone might integrate a messaging short-cut key for ease of use, so that users can quickly send messages to their family and friends. The Samsung A877 phone may also support AT&T Navigator and a MP3 player.

The rumored Samsung A877 phone is expected to hit the shelves on March 29, 2009. However, the pricing details of the phone are not known yet.
