Safeguard your Mobile Phone with Immobilise

Mobile safeguarding by Immobilise Mobile users have been requested by Northumbria Police, UK to register their mobile phones on a national website that registers identifiable property.

The website provides a huge hope of getting the mobile back if it is lost or stolen. The website that holds details of 10 million phones will help mobile users recover their phones back with the help of law and technology. Northumbria has linked up to the National Mobile Phone Register, a national law enforcement system which will search the details and the search will include the ‘Immobilise’ site for details of owners of mobile phones. Once the details are traced, the phone will be returned to the respective owner.

Detective Inspector Tim Miley, of the Northumbria Crime Department Development Unit said, “Being able to input and search on a national database of stolen phones means that we have a greater chance of identifying stolen property and offenders.”

To register mobile phones, one can punch in the IMEI number of their phone and personal details on to the website www.immobilise.com. This website definitely brings in a new ray of hope where mobile loss or robbery is facing an increasing trend.
