Rogers to introduce Motorola Android handset by 2010

Motorola Sholes Rogers Financial Post revealed that renowned network carrier Rogers is planning to launch Motorola device in 2010 to expand their lineup of Android handsets, reports UnwiredView.

The network carrier has already launched two Android driven handsets this year, the HTC Magic and the Dream. Rogers may introduce the Motorola Morrisson or the Motorola Sholes which is expected to be unveiled at Motorola’s Android event, since it looks like both the handsets feature GSM versions.

Apparently, apart from the RAZR series of handsets, the last Motorola device that Rogers introduced was the Motorola Extreme VA76R way back in September, 2008. There is also a possibility of the Motorola Heron or the Motorola Calgary to be launched by this Canadian network carrier.

It is believed that Motorola is planning to launch several other Android devices in the coming months, so it cannot be predicted which Motorola phone the network carrier would offer. Nothing is official yet, there is still a long way to go.
