Remember the Milk receives new features with 1.3.0 upgrade

Remember the Milk

Managing several tasks together is difficult, especially if it’s a mix of home chores and business work. Remember the Milk app for the Android is an excellent task manager which assists users in remembering and organizing them in categories. This app has recently been upgraded to the 1.3.0 version. It adds-in two new features namely, auto-complete for Smart Add and enhanced auto-syncing.

The Smart Add feature is now optimized with auto-completion function, which enables users to quickly add tasks to the app. While doing this, they can simply tap on icons like priority, due date or anything else to access a list of choices such as tags or common due dates. In order to filter the search for options, they can begin typing the tag. Users can even add something that is not in the list of tags. Additionally, it utilizes default list setting when tasks are added.

With the improvised auto-sync functionality, users needn’t wait for long to automatic sync. The app begins automatic synchronization a few seconds after the user has made changes. With the upgrade, even the widget styles are customized for Android 2.0. The upgrade solved the issues pertaining to date display. Moreover, it fixes snags related to saving changes on notes. The app now interprets the time estimates suitably when the handset is set to another language other than English.

When users search for tasks that have been completed, the app directs them straight to the default completed task view. Smart Add now recognizes ‘^never’ as long as the Default Due Date is set on ‘Today’. Handset owners will now see a count of ‘0’ instead of the usual ‘smart’ term appearing when the Smart Lists are empty. Smart List now includes ‘due:never’ again if the Default Due Date option is ‘Today’. With the ‘Continue Repeating’ option selected, the tasks will be repeated correctly. Users can now acquire appropriate results with the Searches/Smart List criteria.

The latest upgrade of the Remember the Milk app can be downloaded by Pro users for free. Those who do not have a Pro account may avail of a trial by downloading it for 15 days. Users who have already acquired a trial version can now also try out the updated features with a new trial. The 1.3.0 version of the app is also codenamed Trurl.
