Reliance Lyf Earth 1, Water 1, Water 2 listed online starting at Rs 14690

The Reliance Lyf Earth 1, Water 1 and Water 2 smartphones have been spotted online on the company’s retail website with price and specification details. The 4G-ready phones are yet to be officially announced by the brand.

Kicking things off with the dual-SIM Reliance Lyf Earth 1, the handset is set to retail for Rs 23990. The highlight of the handset is the dual cameras setup on its rear surface made up of a 13MP and 2MP lens. This system allows for various features such as Re-Focus, ChromaFlash, Fast Focus, Optizoom and Foregrounder.

Both the front and back photography units of the Lyf Earth 1 are accompanied by LED flash. Moving on to its other specs, the device is encased within an aluminum frame and sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED full HD screen. It’s powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor and a 3500mAh battery, which supposedly delivers 7 hours of 3G talk time and 250 hours of standby time.

Coming to the Lyf Water 1, the smartphone will be up for sale at Rs 14999 and run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It contains 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Users can expand on the latter up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. There’s a 13MP snapper on this model as well, in addition to a 5MP front-facing one with an 80-degree wide-angle lens.

The Reliance offering carries a 5-inch LCD display showcasing a resolution of 1080p. There’s a 2600mAh battery fueling the device’s engines, which the company says can last for 5 hours of talk time and 185 hours of standby time. The unit’s daily tasks are conducted by a Snapdragon 615 SoC.

Finally, the Lyf Water 2 is the more affordable variant of the Water 1 and can be bought in exchange of Rs 14690. It ships with a similar set of features except for its 5-inch 720p screen, Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and 2400mAh battery. A retina scan access function is also mentioned on the handset’s page, perhaps hinting at an eye-scanning tool to unlock the phone.
