The shipment dates cannot be found yet, so the time frame during which the new network operator plans to release its 4G services in India is still a mystery. Citing a PTI report, The Economic Times has disclosed that there are currently two other Chinese firms that are in advanced talks to provide 4G devices via Reliance Jio.

The infant telecom operator wants to have a massive launch of its 4G services later this year. It’s hence that it has targeted around 5000 towns and cities from around the country for the release. This makes for over 90 percent of urban India and more than 215000 villages in total. RJio is believed to possess the country’s largest intra-city optic fiber network right now.
