Along with the brown autumn leaves the world is noticing the fall of a multitude of smartphones. From the past few days we have been constantly reporting on new smartphones being unraveled be it with the Windows Phone 7 or Sprint ID packs. Today, Best Buy has enunciated an exclusive launch and pre-order of four fresh smartphones. Its latest portfolio will contain major names such as the Dell Streak, HTC Surround along with two dazzling beauties in white namely Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 and Samsung Fascinate.

The Xperia X10, HTC Surround and the Dell Streak are coming through AT&T, while the Samsung Fascinate operates on Verizon Wireless’ networks. Crafted with a 5” Gorilla glass, the Android-based Dell Streak is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. On the other hand the HTC Surround appears to be ideal for audiophiles as it is embedded with Dolby Mobile and SRS surround sound speakers that innovatively slide out. With a 3.8-inch touchscreen, the handset runs on the Windows Phone 7.

“There are thousands of places to buy mobile phones in America, but there is only one place where customers can buy one of these great smart phones. And that place is Best Buy Mobile,” asserted Scott Anderson, head of merchandising for Best Buy Mobile. “Each one of these devices offers something new and unique to the market and we are excited and honored to bring them to our customers. Best Buy knows consumers expect the hottest products, but also great prices along with a level of service and support that simply makes life easier – that’s what we’re delivering.”

Another enticing smartphone for music aficionados would be the Xperia X10 as it comes loaded with a tantalizing media pack of Taylor Swift content. This one too operates on Android and runs on a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. Adorning a 4” WVGA capacitive touch display, the handset sports an advanced 8.1MP camera. Similar to the Sony Ericsson offering, the Samsung Fascinate too is painted in an alluring white. Retaining Samsung’s love for the super AMOLED screen this handset features 4” display and works on a 1GHz processor hosting a 5MP Camera.

These four handsets are up for pre-order exclusively through Best Buy Mobile and can be procured online or form all Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile specialty stores. AT&T is offering the Xperia X10, Dell Streak and the HTC Surround with a fresh two-year contract, price tagged at $99, $299.99 and $199, respectively. The X10 and Streak will hit the stores by October 24 whereas the HTC offering will come by November 8. The Samsung Fascinate is coming through Verizon with new two-year activation by October 24, 2010 for $149.99.
