This fall stylish headphones seem to be the flavor, as just a little while back we had penned a post about Urbanears headphones coming in a fresh range of hues. Pioneer today takes the wraps off its latest limited edition HDJ-1000 professional DJ headphones. Anticipated to be available by December 2010, the headphone is painted in two shades a glitzy gold and a sophisticated black in addition to the initial chrome one.

Designed for a comfort fit, this audio solution boasts on producing better low frequency reproduction enabling DJ’s to mix music effectively. The headphones embed drivers which proffer higher impact in lower bass frequencies. With the 1.5 mm voice coil and 38 micrometers diaphragm, it provides significant midrange and mid-bass frequencies. Furthermore, these functionalities help in producing better linear response at high volume levels.

The HDJ-1000 headphones feature an improvised mono/stereo selector circuit to achieve pristine playback in midrange frequencies. Accrediting to ting enhancement, it deploys impactful snare drums, cymbals and bass drums sound. Crafted for optimal comfort, the ear pads are lined with rebound urethane and has a ‘wrap around the ears’ fit for higher sound insulation. This offering flaunts an easy fold-away structure design with a pivotal mechanism offering 90-degree rotation to support a myriad of monitoring styles. It even features a comfortable mono/stereo switch to effortlessly opt for a single-ear use.

These fully enclosed dynamic stereo headphones furnish a frequency range of 5Hz – 30kHz with an output level of 107 dB/m. Fitted with a 3.5mm 3P mini plus gold-plated, screw in plug, it has a 1.2m side mount coil connection cord which can be extended up to 3m. They are packed with a carrying pouch and a 6.3mm 3P gold-plated, screw-type plug adapter. Excluding the cord the device tips the scale at 9.52 oz. and is a 50 mm diameter dome type unit.

The gold HDJ-1000-G and black HDJ-1000-K are slated for a December 2010 release with a price tag of $209.
