After donning black and white avatars, the Samsung Galaxy S II will retail through Expansys from February 13 in a bright pink shade. The release date of this rose tinted handset coincides with Valentine’s Day and Samsung is probably aiming to get lucky with female customers or their beaus.

Although all the functionalities and features of the pink variant are the same as its black and white counterparts, the Expansys staff blog reveals that the price will be £10 more than the standard version. A successor to the popular Samsung Galaxy S, this smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor and runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. Operating on a 1650mAh battery, it is capable of delivering talk time and standby time of up to 3 hours and 250 hours, respectively.
