A pink Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has cropped up stealthily on the company’s official website for Taiwan. Seemingly available for purchase there, this version of the phablet is still to be confirmed for other regions of the world. However, with Valentine’s Day only a week away, the South Korean electronics giant may well be ready to dish out this hue worldwide. But nothing can be said as of now, as the company is yet to talk about it officially.
The pink colored Galaxy Note 2 was spotted by Unwired View recently on its official page for the country in question. A rough interpretation done with the help of Google Translate reveals that a ‘Buy Now’ tag has indeed been attached to it. As far its price there is concerned, it seems to have been set at 21,990 TWD which converts to Rs. 39,666, and is nearly the usual price at which the device sells in India, give or take minor differences. So, as expected, the new hue doesn’t sport a higher tag.
This obviously means that the specifications of the smartphone will also remain the same. They are highlighted by its 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display which possesses an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Providing further visual pleasures is its Mali-400MP GPU. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean runs the show for this handset, with assistance from the company’s very own TouchWiz user interface which is aimed at enhancing its usability.
