Philips Xenium X600 boasts a battery life of 2 months standby time

Philips Xenium X600The latest venture of Philips to get a certification by the FCC is the nouveau Xenium X600. The tri-band phone from the novel Philips Xenium lineup appears to be aimed at customers who fancy using more than a handset for days on end. The device battery practically has little or no charging required. Though the handset is not really feature-rich, it would surely entice customers who love to chatter incessantly.

Though the company is not really popular in the mobile circuit, Philips has certainly created a niche for itself in the mobile phone business. Their recent development, the Xenium X600 brags of a really long battery life. The battery is estimated to provide 2 months in standby mode and about 16 hours of talktime.

Additionally the triple band GSM/GPRS clamshell is packed with a music player, 2 megapixel camera and memory expansion via microSD card slot up to 2 GB. The phone is further equipped with two displays – internal and external and also supports Bluetooth interface.

At the moment there is no information on the pricing and release of the Xenium X600.
