It seems that Pantech is joining the league of luxury phone manufacturers. It recently unveiled the Sky Dupont luxury phone that oozes out style and elegance. This handset will be made available in South Korea via SK Telecom.
The full-touch candybar features golden accents and 3-inch touchscreen display with 240 x 400 pixels resolution. According to UnwiredView, the Pantech mobile phone opens up like a DuPont lighter to show off a 3 megapixel camera.
Apparently, the Sky Dupont is inspired by French company DuPont’s famous lighter. The dimensions of the luxury handset are 106.8mm x 50.8mm x 11.15mm and it measures around 90 grams. The entertainment features of the phone include DMB TV, music player and more. Reportedly, the handset also offers GPS navigation support, email capability and microSD card slot. Seemingly, the Pantech device comes with gold-plated edges and 2G connectivity.
The Pantech Sky Dupont luxury phone carries a heavy price tag of around $830, and is said to be the most expensive Pantech handset till date.
