Pantech, the leading mobile manufacturers of Korea, announced the release of its duo dual-sliding 3G smartphone C810 for Mexican markets at a Telcel show. Supported by Mexico’s largest mobile network carriers, Telcel, the smartphone is the first double keyboard mobile phone.
Running on a Windows Mobile 6.0 operating system, the Pantech dual sliding 3G phone has both general numeric keypad and a QWERTY keyboard which allows easy operation of the mobile and access to the web. The smart device encompasses a range of powerful features like 1.3 megapixel camera, MP3 player, 5.6cm QVGA LCD display screen, Micro SD card slot and Push e-mail function.
With a global roaming, the 3G C810 empowers users to surf the web in over 135 countries in addition to checking and sending emails. Through the GPRS/EDGE, users can enjoy voice communication in over 190 countries.
After expanding their 3G smartphone market in Mexico, the Pantech Group plans to extend its smartphone market to Argentina as well later this year. The price of the Duo dual-sliding 3G smartphone is unavailable yet.
