Palm Centro 2 Based on WebOS Coming Soon?

Palm logo It seems that after the recent launch of Palm Pre phone and its new operating system, Palm is all set to roll out its second smartphone based on WebOS.

Although Palm has not made any official announcement about it, there have been many rumors spread all over.

It is said that the new Palm smartphone will be almost similar to the current Centro phone.

The new smartphone may not integrate the physical QWERTY keyboard; instead it will have a large touchscreen. The touchscreen will take full advantage of the operating system and may provide users with easy to use functions and navigations.

The size and shape might be same as that of Centro device. As of now much details about Palm’s new discovery are not out. But it may be interesting as it will run down on the WebOS of Palm. Whether the new phone will feature camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity and other multimedia features is not known.

Palm’s second phone may come out via Sprint and should start selling around fall 2009. Cost of the phone is also unknown but hopefully it will not be very expensive. Well Palm fans will have to wait for more details until it is announced officially.
