The new payment service will make the buying process simple, faster and easy. The two companies claim that it will be the biggest revolution in payment methods. They also aim at providing the service to more than 28 million customers.
With the help of contactless technology, customers can use their mobile phones to pay for goods and services at retail stores. For this, users simply need to wave their handset against a reader. The new service will also provide market-leading mobile alerts, new banking applications and servicing capabilities that will help users to keep control on their finances while on the go.

Both the companies are looking forward to strengthen their partnership and plan to introduce the contactless service in the areas of transport, ticketing and rewards as well. The payment process of transactions will be handled by MasterCard.
