Opera Mobile 10.1Nokia smartphone users can now look forward to an enhanced experience with the latest Opera update. The first beta of Opera Mobile 10.1 comes to Symbian Series 60 mobile devices. The latest inclusion offers users geolocation capabilities and an accelerated speed.

Through the geolocation function, users can avail of custom made services from online services like maps and travel apps. If users are hesitant in disclosing their location, they can choose when Opera can reveal such information.

“Opera Mobile 10.1 beta is a new upgrade, including the latest rendering technologies to boost browsing performance on Symbian Series 60 phones,” stated Dag Olav Norem, Vice President, Mobile Products at Opera Software. “Millions of people already use Opera Mobile on their Nokia Series 60 phones and we hope many of them will help us test this new beta.”

The Opera Mobile 10.1 beta is all set to bring in the robust Presto rendering engine, Vega graphics library and Carakan JavaScript engine for handset users. Users will find the Opera desktop loaded with password manager, Opera Link and Speed Dial. These above mentioned functions improvise the user’s entire web experience.

The beta ensures that more and more users enjoy browsing with the Opera Mobile. Thus, it has added features like a virtual keyboard, tabbed browsing, auto-rotation to landscape and kinetic scrolling. Moreover, it even caters the Opera Turbo tool, which enables users to boost the internet’s browsing speed if the network slows down. Moreover, they may utilize Opera servers to compress content in order to augment the internet speed and access websites faster.
