OneIndia, MyToday partner for SMS Service in Five Indian Languages

OneIndia Service MyToday, an SMS based content publishing service has expanded its service by tying up with the portal OneIndia.in, which provides them with News and Entertainment content. Now, MyToday’s services are available in five local languages namely Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

NetCore Solutions runs the SMS service for MyToday. One India as a news, entertainment and lifestyle portal is already available in the above mentioned five Indian languages. This partnership will include the free SMS service MyToday Dailies which claims to have a subscriber base of around 3 million users.

Under this partnership, OneIndia.in will be providing local language content to MyToday Dailies subscribers.

Abhijit Saxena, CEO, NetCore Solutions spoke to agencyfaqs saying, “Language is a big space. We have created media on mobile (with the MyToday Dailies service), which will now have regional content apart from English and Hindi. There are many local language channels on television which are viewed as much as Hindi and English language channels. So, it was a no-brainer for us to get into the local language content space.”

It is known that MyToday’s MyToday Dailies SMS alert service includes a text advertisement at the end of each text message.
