NTT DoCoMo and KFT Co collaborate to create a smartphone by next year

NTT DoCoMo Android logo The two Asian giants NTT DoCoMo and KTF Co are planning to develop a smartphone that will be based on open source Linux Google Android mobility operating system. The project will require a lot of research and dedication to develop a better smartphone but the two companies claim that the smartphone will be available by next year.

NTT DoCoMo is Japan’s largest mobile phone operator and a member of Google’s Open Handset Alliance that wish to introduce the handset 20 percent cheaper than the current smart phones. Since Google is offering Android software for free and DoCoMo also hopes to reduce its cost on development. Besides saving money, important news that everyone needs to know is that it will be the first Google phone sold by the two carriers.

NTT and KFT who revealed their plans publicly, it is assumed that the other manufacturers will also have such plans. Each manufacturer is ready to compete with each other to create a better device for all Android phones. Motorola already claims to develop a better smart phone.
