Nokia X3 and X6 handsets make a musical debut

Nokia X3 X6 Handsets Nokia constantly strives to present innovative multimedia phones and now they are back with two music phones. The mobile phone manufacturer announced the Nokia X6 and X3 multimedia devices for their music frenzy consumers.

The Nokia X6 plays 35 hours of booming music and boasts of a 32GB on-board memory. The music phone is equipped with a 3.2″ finger touch interface. The handset presents 16:9 widescreen optimized for photos, videos and browsing. Further, the Nokia device offers direct access to the Ovi Store. With this device, users can be in touch with around 20 friends and virtual communities, like Facebook right from their homescreen.

Jo Harlow, Vice President, Nokia, remarked, “The Nokia X6 and Comes With Music is a powerful combination, enabling music fans to download all the music they could ever want – quickly, easily and for free. We’re giving people convenient access to and ownership of a vast music library and an exciting new touchscreen device to play their music on.”

Joining the bandwagon of the Nokia music phones is the Nokia X3. The company claims that the X3 is the first Series 40 Ovi Store-enabled device. The sleek and compact music phone packages stereo speakers, built-in FM radio, and 3.2 megapixel camera.

Both these music phones are expected to ship by the fourth quarter of 2009. The Nokia X6 would be retailed for approximately EUR 450, while the Nokia X3 is apparently priced at EUR 115. These prices are exclusive of taxes and subsidies.
