The rising demand for dual SIM phones has apparently prompted a certain Finnish manufacturer to add another feature-rich phone dubbed the Nokia X2-02 to its portfolio. This device aimed at budget-conscious users, is deployed with a SIM manager that remembers the settings of up to five SIM cards, reports the Nokia Conversations blog.
The phone’s Easy Swap dual SIM functionality uses a dedicated SIM manager that allows owners to switch between as many as five cards. This can be done by assigning a name to each one and saving its settings. Also, the gadget is designed to allow hassle-free exchange of SIM cards as it does not require users to reboot or even switch off the device. IN terms of the main specs, it is equipped with a 2.2-inch display along with a 2MP camera.
The Nokia X2-02 operates on the Series 40 OS, one of the most widely used platforms by the company for budget phones. The battery survives standby time of up to 18.5 hours and talk time of approximately 9.7 hours. It takes care of on-the-go mobile entertainment with attributes like an MP3 player, internal FM antenna and integrated loudspeaker. Loaded with a Play via Radio feature, it lets users record music from live FM broadcasts and share playlists over music systems and with other mobile devices.
But if fans wish to store playlists and other such multimedia content on the phone itself, then the gadget comes with 32GB expandable memory space to suit these needs. Internet access on this handset is enabled by the pre-loaded Nokia Browser, while the social networking aspect is cared for by Facebook and Twitter clients that can be launched directly from the homescreen. Catering to the tastes of different users, the device can be picked in color options like bright red, dark silver, orange, violet and ocean blue.
The Nokia X2-02 price before subsidies and other applicable taxes is estimated to be €60.
