Nokia has made the firmware update available to the North American version of the N96 that will enhance the usage of the phone. The update makes the N96 compatible with Nokia’s newly-launched Mail on Ovi service.
The new firmware update can easily be updated via the Windows-based Nokia Software Updater. With it, the N96 user can update Nokia device software in their computers and enjoy all latest facilities. The smart phone also features a large 2.8 inch display screen is more responsive to the 5 megapixel camera’s image quality. The built-in GPS and Nokia map application provides easy navigation facilities to the users.
Nokia N96 supports 16 GB internal flash memory, which is expandable with microSD memory card slot and also inherits a stereo FM radio and digital music player that supports MP3, AAC, eAAC+, WMA and album art for the music lovers. The N96 Smart phone also bundles other features like emailing and messaging, internet browsing, Bluetooth connectivity that makes the phone an ideal device for communication.
