The launch date of the most awaited Nokia N86 NAM is finally leaked out. According to the Nokia Blog, the N86 NAM will be made available in the US stores on August 22nd, 2009.
Apparently, earlier there were speculations that the Nokia N series handset would be made available in the month of July. However, they turned out to be false. The Nokia N86 NAM is equipped with an 8 megapixel camera with auto focus and dual LED flash capabilities. The handset boasts of a 2.6-inch OLED display which offers 240×320 QVGA resolution.
The handset is inclusive of 8GB internal flash memory and also supports microSD card of up to 16GB. The Nokia device measures 103.4 mm x 51.4 mm x 16.5 mm and it weighs around 149 grams.
The N86 NAM offers a talktime of up to 6.3 hours for GSM and around 3.9 hours for 3G. However, it provides a standby time of about 11.5 days for 3G and up to 13 days for the GSM model.
Reportedly, the Nokia mobile phone will come with a price tag of $499. Astonishingly, the pricing is $59 lower than the pre-order price on Nokia’s website. Apparently, the online retailers might offer the Nokia N86 for around $470.
